This class will have three topics: an introduction to the world of dessert wines, proper service of wines, and storing wines to ensure that they age to their highest potential. We will explore the grape varieties that are used for the production of dessert wines as well as the unique ways that they are crafted. Collaboratively we will learn to pair these wines with desserts. As proper wine service is an absolute must in nice restaurants and high-class social situations, Maja will demonstrate proper wine service and have each class member practice the correct serving techniques for different types of wine. Our series concludes with the fundamentals of wine storage to ensure that your wines make it to your customers at their peak.
